Clean Carburetor Air Cleaner Element

Remove the 8-cylinder element from the air cleaner body and either rap gently on the bench to loosen trapped dirt, or direct clean compressed air against the element in the opposite direction of normal air flow from the inside out. Clean the air cleaner body and cover in solvent, and wipe them dry. Refer to Group 3 of this supplement for 6-cylinder air cleaner element cleaning instruction.
